How an energy management system can avoid conflicts in workplaces…
Sabine Leimstoll and Martina Sorg don’t like each other much anyway. But since they’ve been sharing an open-plan office with four colleagues, things have got worse. Tensions often flare up about whether and when the window should be open and how high the heating should be turned up in winter.
“Superiors and energy managers routinely describe conflicts like this” says Friedrich Riempp. They not only cause a bad atmosphere at work, but also cost a lot of money when energy for heating or air conditioning literally goes out of the window. Real power struggles go on that sap the concentration of the colleagues.
Software-based management system
“We developed our software-based energy management system to maturity in 2013 with the aim of saving an average of 20 percent of energy per workplace. However, sometimes emsyst 4.0 is also installed to defuse conflicts” says the Managing Director of the company of the same name in Oberboihingen.
